Biography

Conrad Caton was born and raised in Montréal, Canada.  Soon after graduating from Concordia University, he moved to Toronto to begin his acting career. Working in film, television, and having done several commercials for the Canadian and US markets, he decided to further invest in his craft and successfully completed the program at The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York City. 



His training at The Playhouse also fostered a great respect for the stage.  Joining A Mixed Company’s regional theatre group playing the lead role of Thami Mbikwana in Athol Fugard’s ‘My Children! My Africa!’.   Other theatre credits include the first time portrayal of Joseph Philippe Laroche, the only Negro to have sailed aboard the Titanic. ‘Titanic, The Untold Story’ premiered at the Alderney Landing in Halifax, NS, and was also presented at The Segal Center in Montreal, QC.

In addition to theatre, his film and TV credits include, the NSI Drama Prize winner short ‘In Between/Entre Deux’, the Genie nominated comedy Saved by the Belles and the recurring role of Jonathan in the second season of Da Kink in My Hair on Global. Conrad has now added writer/director/producer to his list with his new short coming out in 2016, 'NERGIG'.
